Well, I couldn’t get off from work to hit what I though would be really good shows back in September (Filter, STP) and October (NIN and Pearl Jam). Dammit. As well, I had to miss Buckcherry February 22. Missing a lot of good stuff and I’m not happy. I think I missed Stone Sour in there too somewhere. Hopefully things will start looking up. I know Linkin’ Park with 30 Seconds To Mars is on sale today for WRAT club members, but that’s in August, a long time away as well as I can’t guarantee I can get off for work. Let’s hope…
Overall a good show. Barroom Heroes and Swingin’ Utters opened. Oh and there was a mosh pit… I haven’t been in one of them in like 15 years.

For the last the guys called the ladies on stage. It was a bit amusing to see girls who looked in the range of 10-13 years old singing “Kiss Me, I’m Shitfaced”. Gotta start while you’re young, I suppose.
At the end of the show a band member stuck around for photos, always cool. Well, there was a crowd, and one girl got upset. She proceeded to imply that any guys wanting to take a photo with the band member were gay. And she took photos of them as well, probably to put on Facebook to express her idiotic view. What a narrow minded twit. She proceeded to take 20 pictures of herself with the band member, even when he was taking photos with other people, she would sneak in to snap one of herself with him. Kinda seems like one of those obsessed psycho fans.
…is that I couldn’t get off from work, so I missed the Under the Sun Tour (Stone Pony Summerstage) and Ratfest (Alice In Chains, Jane’s Addiction), so no pictures here.
Ok, I really effed this one up. Took my camera with the 4GB card I used for Soundgarden at the MAC to realize I never moved the pictures off, so I had very limited space. Better to enjoy it anyway. As a result, I have very few video clips, no full songs except for the very end. I had clips from Sponges “Plowed”, Filter’s “Hey Man, Nice Shot” and Live’s “Lakini’s Juice” (this one I REALLY regretted later for replacing it with yet another song performed from the Throwing Copper Album. Anyway, enjoy/
P.S. Can’t upload the Everclear pics, the WordPress HTTP Error rearing it’s ugly head again. I’ll fix that, as well as get the videos up later.

For some reason the last of my Soundgarden and now these photos look pretty bad, I’m thinking my old faithful ELPH may be on it’s way to the digital graveyard. At least I’ve figured out why WordPress was giving a hard time with uploading, of course it means I have to use smaller photos. Blah.
After The Gaslight Anthem played on the Summer Stage – the Dirty Pearls were playing on stage inside the Pony. Not people stuck around, but hey, their loss.
And two videos:

Here’s my first post. What better way to start a new blog, than with some awesome concert photos (Well, the concert, not the photos). A two and a half hour set, not bad, not bad at all.
I’m a little disappointed at the quality of photos I got from my digital camera compared to those people were getting with their iPhones, but hey, I still refuse to get a smartphone. My Digital ELPH may be old, but it has not let me down yet.
At some point I’ll resize the photos and put up a little better video (when I figure out what’s best), but not yet.

Some videos, they’re all around 50MB (except the By Crooked Steps intro, I felt more like enjoying that one than recording):
